Mar 18, 2020 I am using NK Studio with pro tools 1920. The faders on the Nano move the faders in the Pro tools DAW, tracks channels 1 thru 8 but will not work on tracks 9 thru 16 then works again from tracks 17 thru 24 then stops working again for tracks 25 thru 32 and continues on like this. Sometimes when you return to your existing Ableton Live sessions, some settings may not be as you left them. Additionally, disconnecting and re-connecting your Launchpad while in the software for troubleshooting purposes can cause issues with your settings. Ableton Live needs to recognize that your MIDI keyboard is connected to your computer before you will be able to use it. Install the latest drivers for your keyboard (if needed) and follow the instructions in the owner’s manual before proceeding. Once your keyboard is set up, you can select it in Live, and you can start recording MIDI. Using bluetooth headphones with Live, get errors. They sometimes work with Ableton, and they sometimes don't. There's no reason not to use bluetooth for editing.

What is BLE MIDI?

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a wireless connection specification supported by the majority of mobile computing devices. BLE (also called Bluetooth SMART) can extend battery life for mobile devices using connected accessories (such as MIDI keyboards and controllers) that don't continuously stream data.

Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI is a new version of MIDI protocol (MIDI: Musical Instrument Digital Interface). It was evaluated by a MMA Working Group and its specifications are based on Apple’s implementation.
