I would like to address few things to Ableton here, since my private Emails sent to company get no response.
I use Live since ver 5, altohugh I do not use it on a daily basis. When purchased Live5 I was really impressed by the software, documentation and support. Last summer (2017) updated to Live9. I have to say that Ableton is not the same company anymore. Although software keeps improving in many areas there are areas where Ableton took completely wrong path.

Installation in Windows10 systems is as bad as it gets. Files and folders arescattered all over the system and different folders. On top of that licensing seem to apply to the user not a machine. I recently have had some issues with Windows menu so had to create new profile. When logged into new profile Live asked to do NEW activation ? THAT REALLY SUCKS! Most of the time I do work with Live on weekends, when there is no support and when something crashes or I need help I need to wait till Monday (but in reality I can only go and fix things following weekend). This is simply a nightmare.
LIVE SUPPORT SUCKS! From being on the the best (5-8 years ago) it became one of the worst. I have sent 5 help requests through Ableton website. None of the was replied.
I have technical issue which continues from version to version and after 3 years Ableton was not able to help me to resolve it

Despite improvements in new versions working with Live (when the issues and problems arrive) is pain on a but! At this stage I don't think I would recommend to anybody to purchase Ableton until Customer Support improves because in most cases user will be on his own.
